Responsibilities
Our client is looking for a Front-End Software Developer to join their team! The Front-End Developer is responsible for the translation of the UI/UX design to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. This position will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
- Create modern and appealing visual elements and interactive features on a website or application
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to ensure a cohesive and functional digital product
- Develop of automated testing to be incorporated into CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure websites and applications function seamlessly across multiple platforms
- Optimize code for fast loading times and a smooth user experience
- Routinely test websites for ease of use, speed, quality, and fix website when issues or bugs arise
- Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Write code that adheres to accessibility standards to ensure everyone can access and use the web application
- Participate actively in the scrum agile process and team activities
- Continuously learn and adapt to emerging technologies and frameworks
- Work with DevOps engineers to create CI/CD pipelines for testing and deployments
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with content management systems (CMS)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Python, C#, jQuery, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in modern web development frameworks
- Understanding of web design principles (UI/UX)
- Experience with source control tools (e.g. Git, SVN, Mercurial)
- Experience with web performance optimization tools
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with modern browser testing and debugging
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)

Clearance Requirements
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; The selected candidate will need to apply and obtain a Secret clearance if the selected candidate doesn't already have an active Secret clearance.
