They are a team of experienced cybersecurity professionals with a track record of success in the Federal, Commercial, and Academic workspaces. Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements.

 

Responsibilities

The AWS Native Developer is tasked with designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies.

  • Develop and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services such as S3, EC2, and Lambda
  • Design and implement complex and highly scalable AWS data pipelines that integrate with various data sources and services
  • Develop Lambda functions using TypeScript and NodeJS coding languages to implement business logic and data processing
  • Utilize RDS/PostgreSQL databases to store and retrieve data, and designing efficient database schemas and queries
  • Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices and applying them to continually improve the quality and efficiency of the solutions developed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure that the solutions developed integrate seamlessly with existing systems and processes
  • Demonstrate the ability to ramp up quickly on the client's tech stack, and quickly learn new technologies, tools, and processes to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements

  • 7+ of relevant programming experience is required
  • Hands-on experience with various AWS native services including S3, EC2, Lambda
  • Extensive experience with Lambda development
  • Knowledge of building complex and highly scalable AWS data pipeline
  • Strong experience with TypeScript and NodeJS coding languages and RDS/PostgreSQL database
  • Needs to be a fast learner and demonstrate ability to ramp up quickly on our lclient's tech stack

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with using libraries including knexjs to connect with PostgreSQL/Jest for unit testing
  • Should be well versed using Git (preferably GitLab, but any incarnation of Git is ok) and CI/CD process (Jenkins highly preferred)

Education/Certification Requirements

  • A Bachelors degree is required for this position

Clearance Requirements

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Secret clearance is required. Please be aware that onboarding can take 4-6 weeks for this position.
