Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Senior Security Advisor - Zero Trust to support the design and implementation of a Zero Trust architecture. This role will serve as a technical project manager, coordinating various aspects of the Zero Trust architecture, ensuring smooth execution, and leading cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
- Act as the primary project manager for the design and implementation of the client's enterprise Zero Trust architecture
- Manage complex technology and business projects, identifying and tracking technical components, systems, interdependencies, stakeholders, and policies related to the architecture
- Clearly communicate project assignments, expectations, required results, and status updates to team members, project sponsors, and stakeholders
- Coordinate resources in a matrixed team environment to ensure projects meet identified milestones, resource allocation, and budget
- Ensure project completion within budget and timeline while maintaining quality standards
- Identify and manage project dependencies, costs, and resource usage
- Maintain and update project artifacts and documentation to support Zero Trust implementation
- Collaborate with business and technology units to ensure alignment with project objectives
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of relatable experience is required for this position
- A PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is required for this position, or at least 5+ years of experience in a project management role
- Experience with architectural principles of a Zero Trust environment, including micro-segmentation, CASB, and SSE
- Strong knowledge of information security principles and technologies
- Expertise in project management, with experience in managing technology implementation projects
- Ability to engage cross-functional and virtual teams in a matrixed environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members and stakeholders
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with Zscaler and CloudFlare preferred
Education/Certification Requirements
- A PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is required for this position, or at least 5+ years of experience in a project management role
