Asset Management Specialist

Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to play a key role in ensuring that the organization's assets are properly tracked, deployed, maintained, upgraded, and eventually disposed of. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a solid background in asset management practices. U.S. citizenship and a TS-SCI clearance are required.

• Manage the acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and final disposition of IT assets
• Enter information into asset management databases, ensuring data accuracy
• Facilitate the transfer of assets between various client locations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT hardware asset management
• Perform moderately heavy lifting for the movement of IT equipment, such as monitors and printers
• Analyze large datasets using Excel and ensure asset records are accurate from creation to closure
• Communicate with customers, vendors, management, and team members, primarily using phone and email
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required for this position
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to work on-site at a client SCIF in Washington D.C.

Preferred Requirements

• Familiarity with the Intelligence Community (IC) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
• Previous experience in asset management or a similar role
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Education/Certification Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required for this position

Clearance Requirements

• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active TS/SCI clearance is required. Please be aware that onboarding can take 4-6 weeks for this position.
