Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to report to their Divisional CFO. This role is responsible for the operation and management of our client's North American Offices tactical communications division. Additionally, the Finance Manager will provide support to the divisional Finance functions based in the UK and Australia, as well as supporting operational & sales functions within the US offices.
- Act as a key member of the local Management and Leadership teams at each US legal entity
- Provide revenue and expense forecasting and sales pipeline (Salesforce.com) analysis and support to the Director of Financial, Planning & Analysis
- Bid and proposal support for Sales which includes pricing, payment profile and margin analysis
- Ensure contracts and orders are in compliance with the corporate framework including liaison with the Commercial team in respect of negotiation of terms and conditions
- Support the divisional finance team in managing departmental budgets, expenditure and supporting inventory management processes
- Manage business systems and standards that mirror those used in the division whilst remaining appropriate for different entities and jurisdiction
- Provide support to the US project management team
- Work with the divisional finance team in managing sales & corporate tax compliance
- Report and review of financial and operational KPI’s
- Support the Director of Accounting with cash flow management & coordinating with AP & AR teams
- Support the overall payroll function
- Ensure compliance with payment terms and support the management of debtors
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related fields
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage with stakeholders
- Comprehensive understanding of sales and business-related tax regulations
- In-depth knowledge of the sales process, including quotation, pricing, payment profiles, and order management
- Familiarity with production processes and the associated documentation requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Flexible and adaptable to accommodate last-minute changes to meet business and customer needs
- Advanced numeracy and analytical skills for data processing and financial reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated understanding of cross-disciplinary business functions
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards with a "Zero Harm" approach
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a "can-do" attitude to achieve customer satisfaction
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to innovative technologies and product offerings
- Ability to generate and incorporate feedback to improve business processes

- Willingness to undergo US Security Clearance
- Availability to travel as required
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably AX Dynamics 2012
- Familiarity with sales management tools, such as Salesforce
Education/Certification Requirements
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is highly preferred
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is nice to have
