Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Budget Analytics Change Manager to join their team! This role will support the Department of Defense (DoD) by managing and optimizing financial processes, leveraging expertise in SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance financial management solutions and drive user adoption of analytic tools.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand financial management needs, generate product roadmaps, and provide tailored solutions
- Work with development teams to translate requirements into usable products, leveraging financial data to identify trends and create visually compelling reports and dashboards
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of dashboards and analytics, providing leadership to developers and guidance to end-users
- Develop approaches, create PowerPoint presentations, and facilitate meetings
- Analyze current applications in relation to user needs and identify potential areas for improvement
- Plan, develop, and implement an effective Change Management strategy to support user adoption of analytic tools and ensure community requirements are prioritized with development teams
- Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions to support the adoption of analytic tools
- Align goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives across analytical products and portfolios
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in DoD Financial Management within DoD Headquarters or DoD Components
- Knowledge of Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with clients and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Education/Certification Requirements
Preferred Requirements
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or other project management certification
- Recent DoD experience, particularly in Financial Management
- Experience working in an AWS environment
- Previous experience with Advana
Clearance Requirements
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Interim Secret clearance or higher is required. Please be aware that onboarding can take 4-6 weeks for this position.
