Active TS/SCI w/Fullscope Poly Required
Responsibilities
Our client is looking for Senior VMWare Consultant to join their team! In this role, you will assist in the optimization and scaling of the platform to leverage its full realm of capabilities. We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge in Aria/VCF/NSX suite products.
- Deliver and maintain a full VCF environment
- Deliver tier 2 and 3 support to customer and system integrators
- Attend customer planning and technical meetings
- Provide knowledge transfer for all products when requested
- Provide customer and SIs with up-to-date product security and performance patches when they become available
- Provide AD-HOC support to Field support group, and also provide current environment with security patches for vSphere and ARIA suite.
- Provide troubleshooting support during outages
- Maintain JIRA and Confluence pages with up-to-date status of projects
Requirements
- Proven experience with VMware
- Experience in the deployment and operation of vSphere, vCenter, VCF, NSX, and ARIA suite
- Proven experience with ARIA Automation
- Ability to talk through technical requirements
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve Automation related issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an onsite team environment
Education/Certification Requirements
- A bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience or 7+ years of equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- Security + Certification
- VCP (VMware Certified Professional) - VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) preferred
Clearance Requirements
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active TS/SCI w/Fullscope Poly clearance is required.
