They are a team of experienced cybersecurity professionals with a track record of success in the Federal, Commercial, and Academic workspaces. Additionally, our client designs, builds, operates, and secures scalable cloud and IT infrastructures to meet their customers’ near-term needs and fulfill their long-term requirements.

 

Responsibilities

Our client is looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to join their team! This role supports the Security Operations Center (SOC) by identifying, assessing, and coordinating remediation of vulnerabilities across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with Azure cloud architecture and cybersecurity integration and will collaborate closely with IT and cyber teams to reduce organizational risk. This position will move to a Hybrid schedule in the future.

  • Lead the development, integration, deployment, and maintenance of Azure cloud environments

  • Provide technical and administrative support for cloud systems within Microsoft Azure IaaS

  • Engineer and manage Windows-based and Linux-based cloud infrastructure

  • Configure and support APIs for cybersecurity solution integration

  • Translate technical vulnerability findings into actionable insights

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support risk reduction strategies

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in IT, cloud, engineering, or cybersecurity integration

  • 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud architecture, design, and implementation

  • Strong knowledge of information systems administration

  • Ability to communicate technical risks to stakeholders

  • Ability to obtain public trust clearance

Education/Certification Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, IT, or a related field
  • Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent certification

Clearance Requirements

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Must be able to obtain a US Government Public Trust Clearance.
