Network Engineer

Onsite | Washington, DC | 5 Days a Week 

Active Top Secret Clearance Required

Summary

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team! This position will support backend network configuration and troubleshooting efforts with a focus on Cisco-based systems, voice gateways, and VoIP infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Configure Cisco access layer switches including VLANs, PoE, and port settings

• Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 telephony issues in a Cisco environment

• Perform cabling and telecom wiring in MDF and IDF locations

• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco CUBE and Oracle Session Border Controllers (SBCs)

• Set up and maintain Cisco Voice Gateways such as VG410

• Install and troubleshoot Cisco ATAs and other analog voice components

• Provision, install, and support VoIP phones, including Polycom VVX 300/400/500 series

• Collaborate with team members to ensure reliable network and voice infrastructure

• Maintain documentation for network configurations and issue resolutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or related field

• Hands-on experience with Cisco network and voice technologies

• Strong understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking concepts

• Familiarity with VoIP systems and troubleshooting methodologies

• Ability to perform physical cabling and telecom installations

Education/Certification Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required for this position
