Systems Engineer (aircraft systems)

Responsibilities

Requirements
10+ years of experience with aircraft systems
Experience with heavy maintenance or programmed depot maintenance for commercial derivatives
Knowledge of FAA Airworthiness
Knowledge of aerospace systems
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with aircraft communication systems modifications
- Experience with networking or IT
- Experience with diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages
- Experience with Integrated Master Schedules
- Knowledge of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
- Knowledge of U.S. Air Force acquisition processes, and military specifications and standards
- Knowledge of the U.S. Air Force Airworthiness process and Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E)
- Ability to design and analyze power systems and create engineering drawings
Education/Certification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
Clearance Requirements
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Active Secret required (eligible for TS/SCI)
