Summary

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in Voice, virtual, and network design, architecture, and system interoperability to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll upgrade, maintain, and develop enterprise-wide infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, analyze current working infrastructures and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You’ll apply your expertise in VoIP, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), network design and architecture, system interoperability as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the Air Force special access community evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies. Your knowledge of VoIP protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in Cisco hardware, Palo Alto firewalls, virtual routing and SolarWinds, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions.

Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve cybersecurity incidents and proactively prevent reoccurrence of these incidents. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in company and technical competencies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), including Voice or Video

• 5+ years of experience with Network Engineering

• Experience with configuring and troubleshooting SIP Trunks

• Experience with configuring and managing Call Plans

• Experience with Cisco CUBE or Cisco Expressway

• Security+ Certification

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

• Knowledge of Cross Domain System

• Ability to work within Virtual environments

• Bachelor's degree in a Cloud or IT field

• CCNP Collaboration Certification

Education/Certification Requirements

• HS diploma or GED. (Bachelor's degree in a Cloud or IT field is preferred)

Clearance Requirements

• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Top Secret clearance is required.
